May is a month of transition. We’ve gone from winter to spring–and sometimes from spring to summer. The school year ends and thousands graduate. They move from high school to college and from college to the world. Sometimes it is the world that is changing and sometimes it is we who are changing.
And when I think of life and how it is always changing, I think of this little poem, The Dash, by Linda Ellis. And I hope that amidst all the changes of life, I am striving to be sure that my every change is for the better.
And while you’re working on that dash between the years, make sure that you are making time for joy.
